We don’t like playing by rules that suck — we never have.
For years, Darren Fleming thought his job was to bring value and save people money on rent — that this was the key to keeping clients happy. And he did it well. But the real estate industry was (and is) cutthroat, and watching colleagues put profit over people wore him down. Darren burned out.
Then came fall 2005. He was called into his boss’ office and fired. No warning, no kindness — just a brick to the gut. Darren walked out stunned. But also… free.
It was a chance to start over — not from scratch, but from love, vision, and everything the military taught him about building teams that have each other’s backs. A chance to design the strategic, human-centred real estate experience people actually deserve.
